Jean Dunand is an outstanding lacquer artist in the period of French Art Deco movement. Based on western lo- cal art, and actively absorbing nutrients of Oriental Art, developing the traditional lacquer painting techniques, using other Cubist vocabulary, careful layout of abstract geometric shape and fine line decoration, he designed a large number of modern fashion sense stereoscopic lacquer works.
