The Development of Sinological Classics Translation and Its Experiential Enlightenment for the Translation of Ethnic Classics

我国汉文典籍对外翻译历史由来已久,并形成了一系列可行的翻译模式和翻译策略;比较而言,民族典籍的翻译却一直没有取得突破性进展。对我国汉籍外译的发展脉络和经验模式进行梳理和探讨,并结合民族典籍特征及对外翻译现状从译作选择、翻译策略、价值观传递以及服务读者等方面,分析汉文典籍翻译对民族典籍翻译启示与指导作用。

In China, sinological classics translation has a long history, and has formed a series of feasible translation models and strategies. Comparatively speaking, the translation of ethnic classics has not yet made a breakthrough. In view of this, this paper, on the basis of discussion on the mode and strategy of sinological classics translation, and combination with the characteristics of ethnic classics as well as its current translating situations, aims to analyze the enlightenment and guidance of sinological classics translation for ethnic classics translation from the aspect of translation works selection, translation strategies, values transmission and services to readers, etc.
