Infective endocarditis misdiagnosed as bone tuberculosis: A case report

感染性心内膜炎(infective endocarditis,IE)为心脏外科疾病中较为凶险的疾病之一,如不能得到及时有效的治疗,其病死率或致残率较高。由于其多仅以持续高热为首发症状,极易被临床首诊医师所忽略而造成误诊。本文旨在通过对本科室收治的1例误诊为骨结核的IE患者进行回顾性分析,以提高对本病的认识及警惕,减少误诊。

Infective endocarditis （IE） is one of the most dangerous diseases in cardiac surgery. If it cannot get timely and effective treatment, its mortality or morbidity is high. Because of its more than only the continued high fever as the first symptom, easily overlooked by the first clinic clinicians caused by misdiagnosis. This article aims to improve understanding and vigilance of the disease and reduce misdiagnosis by conducting retrospective analysis to the case that a IE patient is misdiagnosed as bone tuberculosis admitted by our department.
