The ideological and political courses in colleges and universities should be furthered and improved; the ideological and political education should be made more scientific, pragmatic and attracting, and students＇ needs and expectation in the process of their growth should be met. These are what the reform of ideological and political courses is all about. It will become a new attempt at the reform to establish ＂The Platform of State Affairs＂ which extracts key contents of the courses, integrates teaching resources and innovates teaching methods. Moreover, this platform combines advantages of both theory teaching and practical teaching which accords with major trends of our times.
