Application of NiTi segmental arch with microscrew anchorage to intrude overerupted upper molars

目的:探讨NiTi片段弓联合微螺钉支抗压低单颗上颌伸长磨牙的临床方法。方法:9例成年患者,上颌第二磨牙11颗伸长,采用NiTi片段弓联合微螺钉支抗技术进行压低治疗。结果:临床11颗过长磨牙均压低至平面,均获得了足够的修复间隙和正常的邻接关系,疗程在6至13月之间,平均9.4月,x线片显示根尖无明显吸收。结论:NiTi片段弓联合种植体支抗压低过长上颌磨牙,是一种有效的治疗方法。

Objectives： To investigate the clinical application of NiTi segmental arch with microscrew as an-chorage to intrude overerupted maxillary molars. Methods： Nine adult patients were selected and treat-ed in the study, eleven overerupted maxillary molars were intruded with the use of NiTi segmental arch and microscrew. Results： The molars were all intruded without root resorption , and the occlusal plane was corrected. The duration of treatment for intrusion was ranged from 6 to 13months , on average 9.4 months. Conclusions： NiTi segmental arch with miniscrews is a effective treatment option to intrude overerupted upper molars.
