The Study on Zhan Ganquan's Thought of Heart-Mind and Human Nature

湛甘泉认为,心有两种状态,性也具有两个层面。心有思、虑、感应、役形等功能,而性有极为丰富的内涵。心的功能与性的内涵决定了"性的心化"的可能性。在湛甘泉的思想体系中,"性的心化"是指个体(包括群体)的思维模式、思维角度、思维高度及心理结构等对个体(包括群体)人性组合形态的影响;"心的性化"是指个体(包括群体)的人性组合形态对个体(包括群体)的思维模式、思维角度、思维高度与心理结构等的影响。"心的性化"与"性的心化"使心与性混而为一,不可分离。

Zhan Ganquan thought of heart-mind has two states, and human nature also has two levels. Heart- mind has the functions of thinking, considering and inducting, while human nature has a very rich connotation. The possibility of “human nature assimilated into the heart-mind” is determined by heart-mind’s functions and human nature ’ s connotation. In the thought system of Zhan Ganquan, “human nature assimilated into the heart-mind” means that individual’s （including group） thinking mode, thinking angle, height of thinking and psychological structure influence the combination of human nature of the individual （ including group）. The heart-mind assimilated into human nature” means that individual’s （including group） combination of human nature influence individual’s （including group） thinking mode, thinking angle, height of thinking and psychological structure. Therefore, the heart-mind and human nature are mixed and cannot be separated.
