庐隐的人生道路与创作历程和"五四"都有着密切的联系,她塑造的"五四"女性形象——包括"新女性",也包括"旧夫人"——具有显著的"过渡"色彩:既有着鲜明的新思想又带着浓重的旧烙印,既体现了过渡时期的社会特征又展现了过渡时期两性关系的特征。虽然没有提出解决女性乃至社会问题的方法,但在这些女性形象身上仍然可以看到庐隐对当时女性乃至社会问题的立场、思考与态度。
