The transformation of the local undergraduate colleges and universities is an important measure for them to adapt to the trend of the reform of the educational system, and also an important way to solve the difficulties faced by the local undergraduate colle- ges and universities. Based on the analysis of the difficulties faced by the local colleges and universities, and the exploration done about the necessity and measures of the transition to the universities of applied technology, it expects to provide a reference to the transforma- tion of local colleges and universities.
