摘要
语用旨在研究会话以及在特定语境中理解语言的方法。医学英语作为一种机构性语言,有特定的语言环境。文章从会话的角度分析医学英语的相邻对、话轮转换、回应标记语等语用特征,提出在课堂教学中如何培养学生的语用意识,运用语用策略,提高实际语言运用能力,这对实践有积极的指导意义。
Pragmatics studies the implicit statements and the ways to interpret the utterances in situational contexts.As a kind of institutional language,medical English has its specific linguistic context.This paper studies the adjacency pairs,types of turn-taking,response strategies of medical English by using the method of conversation analysis.It proposes how to cultivate pragmatic consciousness and puts forward some pragmatic strategies,trying to improve the students' practical abilities of using medical English language.
