As the world’s largest transgenic seeds company, Monsanto has a large number of relevant patent litigation in the United States. A preliminary analysis of Monsanto’s patent cases relating to transgenic crops in the United States is made in this paper, in order to find out Monsanto’s core technology and to what degree Monsanto has controlled the market of transgenic crops in the United States.
