摘要
朱熹、薛瑄均是在对《大学》"明明德、新民、止至善"诠释的基础上,逐步开展自己的修养工夫。二者的区别在于,朱熹从"本末"的过程先后层面阐释"三纲",进而论述儒家修己而后安人的道德理想;薛瑄则是基于个体修行视角,从"体用"角度理解"三纲",并在对"明""新"并非两事的阐发中,建立起知行相合的工夫论体系。
Both ZHU Xi and XUE Xuan took interpreting three guiding principles of The Great Learning as the preparation of their theory of effort. What makes them different is that the interpretation method of ZHU Xi is original-terminal theory, emphasizing the order of cultivation practice, but the interpretation method of XUE Xuan is substance-function theory, paying more attention to self-improvement. In the coarse of explaining "Illustrate and Renovate", XUE Xuan constructed his theory of effort which reflects the unity of knowledge and practice.
