摘要
数字微镜器件(DMD)在用于高帧频探测系统的功能和性能测试时,必须保证DMD能够超高帧频显示图像,而传统的脉冲宽度调制(PWM)方法的显示帧频受限于DMD加载数据所需的最短耗时,无法满足实际需求。为了解决这一问题,驱动DMD超高帧频显示高动态范围的图像,在结合DMD硬件特性和传统PWM理论的基础上,利用图像叠加背景光显示技术,提出了一种改进的脉冲宽度调制DMD实现灰度图像显示的方法。适用于8位灰度以上的高动态范围图像的DMD超高帧频显示,实验表明,该方法将8位灰度图像的DMD显示帧频提高到1kHz。
Using for function and performance testing of high frame rate detection system,DMD must have the ability to display images with ultrahigh frame rate,but the traditional pulse width modulation(PWM)method can not meet the demand for being limited by the minimum time consumed to load data into DMD.In order to solve this problem,DMD can display images with ultrahigh frame rate.An improved DWM method utilizing the technology that displaying images with background light was proposed,which is based on the combination of hardware features of DMD and traditional PWM theory.This method can be applied to images whose grayscale is not lower than 8bits,and the experimental results show that this method can improve the frame rate of DMD displaying 8bit grayscale images to 1 000 Hz.
