法国甜瓜新品种引进试验

Introduction Experiment of New French Melon Cultivars

以本地主栽品种蜜天下和东方蜜1号为对照,对法国甜瓜品种进行了引种观察试验。试验结果表明,引进的4个法国甜瓜品种均早熟,春季果实发育期35 d左右,结实花为单性雌花,田间表现抗白粉病、蔓枯病,不抗病毒病,感霜霉病;香味浓,肉质软,肉橙红色,单瓜质量1 kg左右,商品外观好;但是中心糖度低,易裂果,在嘉兴市不能直接用于生产。

In this paper, we carried out a comparative experiment of four new introduced melon cultivars from France, by taking the local main cultivar Mitianxia and Dongfangmi No.1 as control cultivars. The results showed that, the four introduced French melon cultivars were precocious, and the fruit development period in spring was about 35 days. Their fertile flowers were single female flowers and they were resistant to powdery mildew and gummy stem blight, not resistant to virus disease and sensitive to downy mildew. French melon had thick fragrance, soft meet quality, orange-red flesh and good appearance. Each fruit was about 1 kg in weight. Their fruits were easily dehiscent and had low center sugar content, so they could no be directly used in the production in Jiaxing city.
