《易经》“师”“比”二卦解读:战争与和平

Explanation on Hexagram “Shi”and “Bi”in The Book of Changes:War and Peace

《易经》中的"师""比"二卦,互为覆卦,意思相反关联。其卦爻辞之卦义,分别是关于战争与和平的主题。师卦讲对外用兵,兴兵打仗;比卦则讲睦邻友好,和谐世界。一为干戈,一为玉帛,相反相成,有比较就有鉴别,故《杂卦》传云"比乐师优",师卦忧虑而比卦喜乐。所以说,如果要选择,大家都会选择"比"而不选择"师"的,我们都喜欢和平,而不喜欢穷兵黩武,不喜欢残酷战争。这对当下中国来说,是很有借鉴意义的。

Hexagram＂Shi＂（ 师） and＂Bi＂（ 比） in The Book of Changes are over- turned hexagrams with contrary and related meanings. The Yao word of the two hexagrams,or the explanation of them,means respectively war and peace. Hexagram ＂Shi＂means commanding soldiers and fight; Hexagram ＂Bi＂means friendly neighborhood and harmonious world. One is weapon meaning the war,and the other is jade and silk symbolizing the peace,so they are contrary to each other,and when compared together it is obviously seen that hexagram ＂Bi＂means pleasure and easiness,while hexagram＂Shi＂brings in worry and bitterness,which was also written in Zagua. So if it is needed to choose,everyone would like to select ＂Bi＂rather than ＂Shi＂because we love peace rather than fighting with weapons,or the cruel war. This has much reference significance for China today.
