中国传统文化对日本的上茶礼仪影响深远。其影响主要体现在:受儒家思想的影响,日本上茶礼仪崇尚"以和为贵",遵循"以礼待人",重视饮茶者和煮茶者之间的和谐,以"和"的观念贯穿在上茶礼仪始终;受道家"道法自然"思想的影响,日本上茶礼仪讲求"四谛之清";日本上茶礼仪受佛家禅宗思想的影响最为深远,要求主客双方"以心传心",并以禅宗思想指导生活始终。

Japanese tea etiquette is most far-reaching influenced by the Buddhist Zen thought, which requires both the host and the guest ＂communicating with heart＂,and the whole life of tea cook is always guided by Zen thought.
