近代泽潞地区的铁业与地方社会的发展史

On the Iron Industry and the History Local Social Development at Zelu Region in Modern Times

位于晋东南的泽潞地区是山西乃至中国传统冶铁业的中心,由于近代受外国铁制品和工业化浪潮的影响,这里的手工冶铁业虽有衰落之势,但由于其在农村社会的牢固基础,泽潞地区的手工制铁业得以长期延续和发展下来,并作为当地农民的一项重要产业对地方经济和社会产生了重要的影响。本文通过分析泽潞铁业对当地人民经济生活和地方社会发展变迁所产生的影响,说明近代传统铁业虽日趋式微,但仍在地方经济生活中发挥着重要作用。

Located in southeastern Shanxi, Zelu region was the center of the traditional iron industry of Shanxi and even the entire China, but affected by foreign iron products and industrial- ization trend in modem times, the manual iron-smelting industry at the region gradually declined. However, its foundation is solid in rural areas, it was continued, and it exerted great influence on local economy and society as an important industry for local farmers. This paper analyzes the influence of the iron industry at Zelu region on local economy and society, and points that that the iron industry in modem times still played an important role in local economy and society in spite of its decline.
