Toni Morrison shows her writing talents for the first time in her first novel "The Bluest Eye", which reveals her acute social observance, as well as her sincere and natural feelings to the African-Americans. Her novel depicts lives of African-American females in the North of America. There are rare white people in their world, hut the White symbols can be found anytime and anywhere, forwarding the plot. Morrison vividly portrays the processes of personality reconstruction of the three African-American females to illustrate in depth that the discourse of power has a constructive impact on remolding the personalities of subjects being reformed and finally leads to imbalance and self-alienation of their personality structures.
