支持手势交互的数据库技术研究挑战和进展

Research challenges and progress of database technology supporting gesture interaction

摘要 近年来,随着平板电脑、智能手机、Kinect体感交互设备等的迅速普及,自然交互方式越来越流行,开拓了数据库技术的一个新的研究方向。文中以手势交互为代表,分析了传统数据库在支持手势交互方式时面临的挑战,并从构建新的数据库范式角度,分类综述了用户交互意图的获取、手势语义建模、手势与SQL(Structured Query Language)的映射和手势交互的负载规律及数据库任务调度方法等4个方面的研究现状,最后指出了支持手势交互的数据库技术要解决的关键问题。 In recent years, with the rapid and wide adoption of tablets, smart phones, motion sensing in- put devices like Kinect and other mobile devices, the natural interaction is becoming more and more pop- ular, thus expanding a new research direction. Firstly, the challenges for supporting gesture interaction in traditional databases and the representative of the natural interaction are descried. Then,, from the per- spective of constructing a new database paradigm, the research status are discussed from four aspects: the obtaining of user interaction intents, modeling of gesture semantics, mapping of gestures and SQL state- ments, as well as the general law of gesture-based workloads and the tasks scheduling in database. Final- ly, the key issues of the database for supporting gesture interaction are proposed.
