Jinan Nourished by Culture of the Rule of Law

在历下区人民法院的新办公楼里,有一面“百廉墙”。墙面上的100个廉字有雄浑苍劲的,也有温婉绵连的;有质朴无华的,也有清秀灵动的。历下区人民法院院长张江涛说：“这100个廉字均由我院法官书写,字体和笔意不尽相同,显现出每位法官独有的个性和为人处事的方式,但不管其个性和为人处事如何迥异,‘忠诚、为民、公正、廉洁＇的政法核心价值观必须人人牢记,根植于灵魂深处。”法治文化是法治城市的灵魂。

Culture of the rule of law is seen as the soul of a city that adheres to nomocracy.The first theme park on constitution in China chose the site in Shanghe county,in the northernmost region of Jinan.Covering an area of over 20 hectares,it is set in beautiful surroundings.At the same time,fields of propagandizing the rule of law spread out across the city,such as Yanshan theme park on popularization of laws,legal aid theme park,the Yellow River legal culture square,education base of People's Procuratorate of Jinan and so forth.There are 136 demonstration sites of establishment of rule by law in the city.Culture of the rule of law has been incorporated into the essences of the city of springs,harmoniously blending into local cultural and natural environments.Providing a 'Banquet of Folk Art Forms',Jinan has long been known for a deep foundation of various forms of folk arts,which is conducive to the prosperity of literature and arts related to the rule of law.Colorful and lively characters and works were presented through poetry,painting and calligraphy,animation,opera,dance,sculpture that had been produced for the spread of culture of the rule of law.More than 210 scripts were written and 60 plays were performed.Special shows about the rule of law put on in Chenguang Teahouse and Minghu Hall that have enjoyed a reputation for folk performance.Allegro,storytelling,crosstalk,Peking Opera and Shandong clapper ballad,publicity of the rule of law were carried out in many formsof artistic expression.Diversified cultural evenings of the rule of law were held,over 1,700 theme activities were hosted,attracting audiences of more than 2 million.
