Feminist Analysis of the Women's World in “Wu Zi”

《无字》讲述了女作家吴为在近代中国社会风云变幻中,对亲情、友情、爱情的执着追求,凸显了近代中国女性的生存困境,其对以吴为母亲为代表的四代女性在社会环境中的命运历程的分析,具有强烈的女性主义意识。《无字》中对女性世界的构建,彰显了对父权制文化的反叛、情深的姐妹情谊、厚重的恋母情结等浓厚的女性主义意识,最终表达作者对女性理想世界的深切召唤:从两性对立走向双性同体。

Zhang Jie＇ s novel ＂Wu Zi＂ once again won the Mao Dun prize for literature. The work tells the story of Wu Wei, a woman writer, pursuit the affection, friendship and love in the modem social change of China. It highlights the plight of women in modern China. The works of the four female characters have a strong sense of Feminism. The feminine world presented in the novel expresses the antagonism to the paternity. The female consciousness, such as sisterhood and mother love, expresses the author＇ s desire for women ideal world. At last it comes from Gender Antagonism to androgyny.
