摘要
项目学习法改变了传统的教学模式,是促进有意义语言学习的有效途径,是大学英语课堂的有益补充。然而,该法在英语专业课堂的应用研究极为少见。文章采用问卷调查法,旨在了解采用项目学习法在《希腊神话赏析》课程中的效果,即对学生课程满意度和神话知识的掌握,以及语言运用和综合学术能力的影响。调查问卷和测试成绩显示,学生整体上对课程满意,在《神话》课上有收获;他们掌握了神话的基本知识,达到合格水平。学生对项目学习法的整体评价高,项目学习法有助于语言能力和学术能力的提高。
Project- based learning(PBL) , which has changed the traditional teaching methods, isan effective way to promote meaningful language learning and serves as a useful supplement in college English classrooms. However, this method is seldom applied in the English -major program. Based on question-naires ,thispaper aims to examine the students' view on PBL in a Greco -Roman mythology course, such as their overall evaluation of the course, their understanding of the teaching content, and the PBL's effec-tiveness in language usage and overall academic ability. The test scores and seff -reported data indicatethat most of the students reported they had acquired more knowledge after a semester's study and unde-stood the basics of myths and met the required level. Furthermore, PBL helped improve the students' lan-guage usage and academic ability, which generated high ratings for the course.
