图书馆新型OPAC的实践与思考——以汇文OPAC与哈佛大学Hollis+为例

Practice and Consideration on the New Type of OPAC in Libraries:A Case of Huiwen OPAC and Harvard Hollis+

汇文OPAC系统在国内应用较广,哈佛的Hollis+目录检索系统功能强大,在全球享有很高的知名度。以中美两国比较著名的汇文OPAC与哈佛大学Hollis+为例,论文从不同角度不同层面进行深入对比分析研究,揭示了两系统的服务功能、技术创新、服务特色,其目的是参考吸收Hollis+的技术服务优势与特色,完善我国OPAC系统功能,探索思考新型OPAC系统的创新发展之路。

Huiwen OPAC is widely used in China,while Harvard OPAC＇s retrieval function is powerful and has a high reputation in the world. Taking Huiwen OPAC system and Harvard Hollis ＋ system as cases,this paper compares and analyzes the two systems from many different aspects. It reveals the service function,technical creativity,and service characteristics of the two systems,so as to absorb the superiority of Hollis＋ system to perfect the function of OPAC system,as well as explore the innovative development of the new type of OPAC system.
