论文着重介绍了英国图书馆法的历史和现状及图书馆法的相关内容,并在此基础上阐述其对我国图书馆立法有益的启示和借鉴:通过确立图书馆员职业资格认证制度,提升图书馆服务;通过图书馆法保障图书馆的经费来源;图书馆法应体现出"以人为本"的理念;确立呈缴本制度的法律地位。

This paper presents the development and content of library law in Britain in order to provide enlightenment and reference to our country：establishing the librarian professional qualified certification system to improve the library service;legislating the library law to gurantee the sources of fund; reflecting the idea of ＂people oriented＂; defining the legal status of the legal deposit system.
