Teaching model, aimed at achieving teaching goals, is a series of teaching activities and methods. It is composed of many subsystems. The DST encourages teachers to explore effective means of English classroom teaching and researching. The paper explores and discusses the implications that the DST can have on college English teaching model. Teachers, as well as students, should be aware of the change track of the complex system and realize their respective role to be played in college English teaching model so as to construct a dynamic and balanced English classroom.
