Technology and research progress on pulp and paper mill wastewater treatment

摘要 制浆造纸是废水的主要来源之一。随着环保要求的日益提高,造纸厂的废水处理工艺和技术也面临更大的挑战。概述了造纸厂利用原生纤维制浆造纸和再生纤维制浆造纸所产生的污染物以及其废水处理技术的研究进展。实践中通常采用物化处理如混凝沉淀与生化处理如厌氧-好氧等几种处理方法结合的方式,从而有效地除去废水中的各种污染物。 Pulp and paper industry is one of the main sources of wastewater. Wastewater treatment and technology of pulp and paper mills are also facing more challenges, considering the environmental feedbacks and ongoing legal requirements. This study reviews the recent developments of technology dealing with pulp and paper mill waste water, as well as the pollutants produced from pulp and paper mills using virgin or recovered fibers as raw materials. In practice, a combination of physical treatment (e.g.coagulation sedimentation) and biological treatment (e.g.anaerobic digestion and aerobic treatment) are commonly adopted, so as to effectively minimize various contaminants from pulp and paper mill wastewater.
