Beiliu is a county - level city within Yulin city. It is in the southeast of Guangxi. Both Beiliu dialect and Yulin dialect belong to the Guangdong dialect. They have a lot in common, but the differences are obvious. The thesis analyzes the main differences of pronunciation between Beiliu dialect and Yulin dialect from three aspects - consonant, vowels and tone.
