Editor＇s Note： The key part of the inauguration was an exhibition called ＂Dialogue Across Time and Space - Homage to Tang Xianzu and William Shakespeare＂. This exhibition was planned by the Center of International Cultural Exchange during the 400th anniversary of the death of Chinese drama master Tang Xianzu and his British counterpart William Shakespeare--an echo of the speech made by President Xi Jinping when he paid a visit to the UK last year. It featured the life stories of Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare, the historical background, and their literary achievements.
