On the Adaptation of Note of Pipa to Peking Opera Manuscript Zhao Wuniang

京剧传抄本《赵五娘》对《琵琶记》的改编,强化了原本中"三逼"与"三不从"的矛盾冲突,不仅更加突出了"逼试"与"辞试不从"的矛盾冲突,而且弥补了原本对"逼婚"与"辞婚不从"、"逼官"与"辞官不从"这两组矛盾冲突描写的不足;同时,通过场次的调整与增加情节,来提升赵五娘在剧中的地位,成为剧作的主角;另外,还根据舞台演出的需要,对原作的结构等作了改编。

The adaptation of Note of Pipa to Peking Opera manuscript Zhao Wuniang strengthens the conflicts be- tween the ＂Three Times＇ Force＂ and ＂Three Times＇ Disobey＂. It not only highlights the contradictions between the ＂Force to Take Examination＂ and the ＂Disobey＂, but also makes up the insufficient in the description of the con- flicts between the ＂ Force to Marry＂ and the ＂Disobey＂, the ＂Force to Be An Official＂ and the ＂Disobey＂. Mean- while, by the adjustment of the scenes and the addition of the story, Zhao Wuniang promotes the status of Zhao Wu- niang to the heroine of the drama. Besides, subject to the request of performance, Zhao Wuniang modifies the struc- ture of Note of Pipa.
