Founded in 1920, the League of Nations (LN) played a key role in the international political activities and regional hostilities in the first part of 20th century. The organization was created to maintain the new international political, military and diplomatic orders established after the First World War. During 1930s, LN had been involved into Sino-Japanese disputes for several times as Japanese warlords accelerated the pace of the invasion into China, which generated a great number of diplomatic archives and investigation reports about conflicts between China and Japan. Currently, these documents conserved in the Archives of LN constitute a kind of important resource for studies about the Sino-Japanese War during 1937 - 1945. Focusing on these first hand materials, history, content, fond and collections of these records will be presented in the paper. Additionally, the academicals and historical values of these archives will be discussed in the research.
