Architectural Design for the Future:An Interview with Professor Dietmar Eberle

迪特玛·埃伯勒教授在访谈中提出,面对社会的发展和变迁,建筑行业从要求数最逐渐向要求质量转变;提出了建筑设计如何应对未来的三个要点:优化利用土地,尽量建设高密度街区,注重公共空间质量;考虑建筑在未来的多种可能性;减少资源利用。最后埃伯勒教授阐述了他对建筑各组成部分及其生命周期的理解。

In an interview conducted by the author of this article, Professor Dietmar Eberle, talked about the change of society from ＂quantity oriented＂ to ＂quality oriented＂ and how Architecture can respond to this transition. He explained with three design principles： building high density as well as providing high-quality public space, providing open program so that buildings can be fitted with different functions by different users, and being energy efficient without losing quality. He also talked about life cycle of Architecture subsystems in terms of material employed, construction and associated energy of operation.
