广场舞与城市生活:社会转型下的个人权利与集体利益

SQUARE DANCE AND URBAN LIFE:INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS,COLLECTIVE INTERESTS AND THE CHINA SOCIETY IN THE AGE OF TRANSITION

广场舞的流行与纠纷堪称中国社会在转型期间一特殊现象,2013年连续发生广场舞扰民纠纷后,风靡全国的广场舞开始引起媒体与学界的议论,特别在个人权利与群体权益持衡问题上掀起一阵议论。本文从广场舞者、居委会、城市管理者及国家四个层次的叙事,描绘当下城市居民的文化生活面貌,反映出广场舞扰民背后个人与集体冲突的深层原因,同时探讨城市管理者与国家如何在推行城市化进程中协调集体主义与个人主义之间的互动,维持社会和谐与文明城市形象。

The popularity of china square dance is a particular social cultural phenomenon in Chi-na society. A bunch of issues aroused from square dance since 2013 have successfully caught the me-dia and scholar’s attention, and not alike an enthusiastic praise that dancers received before, the loud-ness of music has created public nuisance, in which conflicts between individual rights and collective interest have or have increased prominently. This study discussed issues on stories of square dance from four different levels included dancers, community, city and the nation, as well as narrated the conflict of individual rights and collective interests beneath the square dance nuisance. Meanwhile, explored on how the city management and the nation coordinate the interaction between individualism and collec-tivism in the implementation of urbanization, maintain social harmony and civilized image of the city.
