Oncology Drug Development in the Era of Precision Medicine

自2015年初,美国总统奥巴马在国情咨文中提出了"精准医学计划",精准医学迅速成为全球医学界热议和关注的焦点。精准医学改变了人们对于疾病,特别是肿瘤的药物开发、临床试验和治疗策略的认识和工作模式。2016年美国通过的《21世纪治愈法案》进一步强化了精准医学在药物开发中的作用。重点介绍精准医学在肿瘤药物研发领域引起的变革与发展情况,并就精准医学的现状和前景作深入探讨。

Since early 2015 when President Obama proposed the ＂Precise Medical Plan＂ in the State of the Union address, the concept of ＂precision medicine＂ has quickly become a hot topic in the medical community worldwide. It changed our understanding and practice in drug discovery, clinical development and treatment strategy of many diseases, especially cancers. The ＂21st Century Cures Act＂ passed in 2016 further defined the role of precision medicine in drug development. In this article, the changes brought by development of precision medicine in the RD of oncology drugs were introduced, the current situation and prospect of precision medicine were also discussed.
