《活着之上》是作家兼学者阎真近年来推出的一部贴近社会现实的力作,在首届路遥文学奖评奖活动中斩获大奖。该书虽是以当今高校知识分子生存状况为主要题材,但却不仅仅是写知识分子的精神困境,而是以睿智和勇气揭示出当代人普遍受金钱、权力、人际关系等束缚的窘态。在小说看似琐碎的叙事中,涌动着对历史、社会以及人性的深邃思考,读来令人掩卷长思。

Above living is one more novel written by Yanzhen to reveal the truth of society, which earned Luyao Literature Award. It described the life of scholars in colleges and universities, including the spiritual dilemma, money-adoring, power abusing, and human relation restraints. Through the description of trivial, it provoked much thought in history, society, and human nature.
