On the Source of Corruption in the New Situation and its Countermeasures

一直以来,腐败都是社会发展的巨大障碍。新形势下腐败产生的原因既有人的本性弱点作祟,也有人治思想残余的影响,更有制度本身存在的缺陷。寻找防治腐败的应对之策,应积极推动廉政文化建设,构建良性的政治生态环境,拓宽反腐的渠道,加强国际反腐合作,最终建立防治腐败的长效机制。

Corruption has long been a huge hindrance against social development. As for its source, it can be associated with the weakness in human nature and the remaining influence of ＂rule of man＂. The defects in social system, however, contribute more to corruption. In order to set the countermeasures against corruption, it is significant to promote the construction of a clean and honest administration, foster a positive ecological environment for politics, adopt new approaches of anti-corruption, enhance the international cooperation of anti-corruption so as to establish an everlasting effective system to prevent and combat corruption eventually.
