文章在萨特的存在主义视阈下解读方鸿渐之生存困境,并着重指明:正是方鸿渐本身的"自由"选择才导致了他在精神上的虚无状态,此种虚无再蔓延到其行为上便造就了"他人"的地狱。由此,诸如方鸿渐的一类人若想摆脱地狱的桎梏,就不得不通过勇敢地反抗虚无从而建立起自身独立的价值观念,并且更为重要的是将此种观念付诸积极的人生实践。

This paper attempts to interpret Fang＇ s existential dileanna according to the perspective of Sartre＇ s existentialism. It＇ s stressed that： just because Fang Hongjian wish to be absolutely unrestrained when making choice, he Jose his mind gradually, and then, he falls into hell made by himself. Therefore, if those, who are undergoing the predicament mentioned above, want to get the indeed freedom, they should be more brave to find what they are pursuing, then more crucially, just do it.
