The course of unit operations of chemical engineering is an important foundation course for chemical engineering and related majors. There are lots of mathematical formulas that contain mathematical laws in the text- book. Based on several teaching examples, this thesis demonstrates the importance of mathematical laws in analyzing specialized knowledge. This method could help students comprehend and grasp the knowledge and overcome their fear in learning this course. Moreover, students could broaden their thinking and improve their abilities of analyzing and solving problems by this method.
