添加Co对Mg_(65)Cu_(25)Y_(10)合金玻璃形成能力的影响 被引量:13

THE EFFECT OF Co ADDITION ON THE GLASS-FORMING ABILITY OF Mg_(65)Cu_(25)Y_(10) ALLOY

摘要 采用熔体铜模浇铸制备出具有不同厚度的Mg65Cu25-xCoxY10(X=2.5;5,7.5)合金薄板试样.利用X射线衍射确定铸态样品的非晶态性质,示差扫描量热计(DSC)分析合金的玻璃转变、晶化和熔化行为.在Mg65Cu25-xCoxY10合金中x小于5时,Co的添加对玻璃形成能力没有明显的影响,玻璃形成的临界厚度大约为2mm;但当x增加至7.5时,合金的玻璃形成能力明显下降.与无Co的合金相比较,含Co金属玻璃的玻璃转变温度Tg降低,过冷液态温度区间△Tx减小,但约化玻璃转变温度Trg没有明显的变化. Element Co was added in a bulk glass forming alloy Mg65Cu25Y10 to substitute Cu and to form the Mg65Cu25-xCoxY10 (x = 2.5, 5, 7.5) alloys. Metallic glass strips with different thickness were prepared by a method of melt injection casting into copper mould. Maximum thickness of complete amorphous structure was determined for the alloys. Amorphous nature of as-cast strips was analyzed with X-ray diffraction. The glass transition, crystallization and melting behavior of the alloys were investigated using differential scanning calorimetry. For the alloys with x≤5, the glass-forming ability is comparable with the Co-free alloy. Metallic glass strip with a thickness of 2 mm can be attained. On further increasing x up to 7.5, the glass-forming ability is weakened. With respect to the Co-free alloy, the Co-containing metallic glasses exhibit a reduction of supercooled liquid region △TX but there is no significant change in the reduced glass transition temperature Trg.
