从人类发展的视角看《全球通史》

On Stavrianos' Global History from the Perspective of Human Development

人类历史也是一部人类发展史。如果从纵向看人类历史,人类自身及人类社会是在不断发展进步的;如果从横向看,世界上不同地区的人类从相互隔绝走向交流往来,并促进人类整体发展水平的提高。斯塔夫里阿诺斯的经典史学著作《全球通史》,记述了从史前时期一直到21世纪的世界历史。《全球通史》不仅是一部世界史,也是一部人类发展史,蕴含着深刻的人类发展哲理。从人类发展的视角看《全球通史》,能够从整体上对人类发展的过去、现在和未来走向产生更加深刻的认识。

The history of human being is actually a history of the development of human beings. When we study the human history in the vertical view, we can see that human beings and human society are in the continuous of the well-known American historian Stavrianos. It described the world history from prehistorical times to the 21st century. Global History is not only the history of the world, but also a history of the development of the human beings. From the perspective of human development, Global History contains rich philosophy of human development. In this paper, the author summarized it in four points： the process of human development is a long-term process; human civilization is in the continuous state of development and changes; it is an irresistible trend of human beings from isolation to each other to exchanges with each other; for a better future of human beings, the only way out is for human beings to coexist peacefully and cooperate with each other.
