The Strategic Posture of China in the South China Sea and Countermeasures

摘要受域内外势力互动与博弈的影响,近年来中国在南海问题上所处的战略态势呈现鲜明的阶段性特征:前期的战略压力持续加大,后期略有好转。其间,中国统筹战略规划、政策设计与策略实施,积极构建捍卫南海主权和利益新框架。中国的应对措施整体上取得积极效果,这对应对特朗普时代的美国南海政策具有重要启示。面对南海局势不确定的前景,中国需认真研判,及早谋篇布局。 China's strategic posture in the SCS is closely related to the United States. Throughout the Obama administration,China's strategic posture in the SCS was in a constant process of change. China coordinated strategic planning,policy design and strategy implementation,and actively constructed a new framework for safeguarding the sovereignty and interests of the SCS. China's countermeasures have achieved overall positive results. Faced with uncertain prospects in the SCS,China needs to research United States' SCS policy after Donald Trump takes office and its impact on the situation in the SCS,and figure out how to get a favorable position in the SCS game.
