The hoisting system of vertical main-mine of Majialiang Coal Mine is the floor model multirope friction hoisting system,which is the largest hoisting capacity,strongest security and highest level of automation of all vertical main-mine hoisting system under operation now in China,the equipment has the leading domestic and world advanced level.Such as equipment selection,systematic antiskid checking calculation,arrangement of hoist engine house and so on were analyzed in this paper,so it could take an example for designing of hoisting system of large or super large scale coal mines.
