摘要
在翻译职业化时代背景下,信息素养对于职业译者的重要性愈发凸显。本文分析了职业化时代译者的信息需求,借鉴信息素养与翻译能力的研究成果阐释了译者信息素养的概念内涵,构建了职业化时代译者信息素养模型,进而探讨了译者信息素养对于翻译专业的教学意义。文章认为信息素养是译者胜任翻译职业的元素养,翻译技术教学应实现从技术能力培训向信息素养培养的目标升级。
In the age of translation professionalization, information literacy has become an increasingly essential re- quirement for professional translators. This paper investigates the information needs of professional translators, inter- prets the concept of information literacy for translators based upon relevant studies on information literacy and transla- tion competence, constructs a systematic model, and further discusses the pedagogical significance of information lit- eracy for translators. It is suggested that information literacy constitute a metaliteracy for professional translators to succeed in the translation industry, and that the goal of translation technology teaching be upgraded from technology competence training to information literacy development.
