邓中夏是我国现代史上首批现代工会运动的拓荒者,也是我国早期研究和传播马克思主义的风云领军人物。在中国新民主主义革命初期,他一直站在中国革命尤其是工人和工会运动的前列,直至土地革命战争初期英勇就义。在其短暂、光辉的革命生涯中,他对中国革命做出了卓越贡献,尤其是对工人与工会运动的理论建树与实践做出了不同凡响的伟绩。

Deng Zhongxia is a pioneer of first modem trade union movement in Chinese modem history. He is also the leading figure in the early research and dissemination of Marx doctrine in China. In the early period of the new democratic revolution in China, he has been at the forefront of the Chinese revolution, especially in the movement of workers and trade unions, till the heroic martyrdom in the early stage of the Agrarian Revolutionary War. In his short glorious revolutionary life, Deng Zhongxia made an outstanding contribution to the China revolution, especially remarkable feats in theory and practice of workers and trade union movement.
