摘要 文化比较作为一种研究视角、一种思维方式,对高校英语教学具有默会性、融通性、应用性价值。由于观念、体制、环境等方面的原因,我国高校英语教学存在文化缺失现象,造成英语教学质量不高、大学生英语应用能力差等问题。在高校英语教学活动中推广比较文化乃是发展的必由之路,亟待加强高校英语教学的制度体系建设,注重教师文化比较研究能力的培养,加强学生的文化知识与交流能力培养,重视中英语言文化的比较与交融。 Cultural comparison as a research perspective and a way of thinking has tacit,accommodative and application values for the college English teaching.Due to the concept,system,environment and many other reasons,the cultural loss existing in college English teaching leads to the problems such as poor quality of English teaching and students' lack of applied ability in English.To promote the comparative culture is the necessary way for the development in the college English teaching activities.Therefore,college English teaching should greatly strengthen the system construction,focus on cultivating teachers' research capacity of cultural comparison,strengthen students' skill cultivation of cultural knowledge and communication,and pay attention to the comparison and integration between Chinese and English language cultures.
