摘要
采用2-甲基丁二酸和1,4-丁二醇在催化剂钛酸四丁酯作用下,通过熔融缩聚的方法合成了聚2-甲基丁二酸1,4-丁二醇酯,并将其作为增塑剂用于制备软质聚氯乙烯(PVC)。采用红外光谱(FT-IR)和核磁共振(1H NMR)对聚酯的结构进行了表征。通过扫描电镜(SEM)、动态力学分析(DMA)、拉伸测试对该聚酯增塑剂的增塑效果进行表征。结果表明:聚2-甲基丁二酸1,4-丁二醇酯与PVC相容性良好,可大大改善PVC材料的柔软性、降低PVC的玻璃化转变温度,增塑效果良好。与小分子增塑剂DOP相比,聚2-甲基丁二酸1,4-丁二醇酯具有优越的耐抽出性、耐挥发性和耐迁移性,提高了PVC材料的使用寿命。
Poly ( 1,4 - butanediol 2 - methylsuccinate ) ( 1,4 - PBM ) was synthesized from 1,4 - Butanediol and 2 -methylsuccinate acid through melt polycondensation, catalyzed by tetrabutyl titanate, then used as polymeric plasticizers to modifyPVC. The plasticizing effect and durability of poly ( vinyl chloride) (PVC) plasticized with ( 1,4 - PBM ) were studied. Thestructure and properties of these polyesters were characterized by FT - IR, H NMR, DMA and tensile test; the compatibility ofplasticizers to PVC was investigated using solubility parameter method. The results showed that ( 1,4 - PBM) displayed excellentcompatibility with PVC. The glass transition temperature of PVC plasticized with ( 1,4 - PBM ) decreased and flexibilityincreased significantly, indicated that (1,4 -PBM ) with excellent plasticizing effect. The volatility resistance, extractionresistance and transfer resistance were superior to the traditional low molecular weight plasticizer dioctyl phthalate ( DOP),indicating that the (1,4 -PBM) can be used as plasticizer to prolong the service life of plasticized PVC.
