Along with the increasing importance of final delivery in e-shopping, internet retailers, parcel express companies and other stakeholders all have put great investments on last- mile delivery network, especially on expanding delivery network at the scale of community. The central government and municipal authorities also have proposed the necessity of incorporating e-tailing logistics infrastructure to urban planning and promoting last-mile delivery network. In face of these policy issues, there are few studies which investigate the spatial distribution of final delivery facilities due to limits of data availability. The paper aims to fill this gap by examining the spatial distribution of final delivery facilities in Shenzhen, with big data source like point-of- interest (POI). This study has compared the spatial distribution of final delivery points deployed by postal companies, parcel express companies and e-tailing companies. Insights from this study are to offers supports and suggestions for decision making on planning and constructing final de- livery facilities.
