自1920年代始,电影批评与创作间关系密切,创造了法国迷影文化,被安德烈·巴赞一代大力发展,催生新浪潮。巴赞之后,"作者论"是《电影手册》贯穿性的电影观念,之后经历了理论化的时期和毛主义时期,1980年代则向创作接近。当代法国电影批评或缺少理论素养,或过于哲学化,迷影文化衰退,是一个艰难的阶段。
Since the 1920s, film critic has a close relationship with film creation, which creates the French cinephilia. Andr6 Bazin, along with his peers in that generation develops the French cinephilia, which leads to the New Wave. After Bazin's times, "La Politique des auteurs" is the core filmic concept throughout Cahiers du cin6ma. Later comes the theorization period and Maoist period. In the 1980s, everything centers on creation. The contemporary French film critic either lacks theories or is too philosophical. The decline of cinephilia marks a tough period.
