Background Recently more attentions have been paid to fractional exhaled nitric oxide （FENO） testing technology because of its rapid, noninvasive and other advantages. Objective Investigate the new application of FENO to provide the theoretical and technical support. Content Review the recent progress in the research on the sources, methods and clinical significance of FENO. Trend FENO can he more easily applied to muhiple clinical departments.
