On Fine Traditional Culture Education in Colleges and Universities

大学生群体存在传统文化意识模糊、传统文化认识偏差、传统文化知识缺失等问题,大学生中华优秀传统文化教育应当坚持课堂教学与课外实践、传统手段与现代媒介、教师主体与学生客体、学校教育与社会环境相结合的原则,并以主体提升为前提、以客体接受为归宿、以载体创新为重点、以环境建设为保障等,促进学生的素质教育、构筑实践的教育平台、凝聚内外的教育合力。

Today＇s college students typically do not have a strong traditional cultural awareness. Some even have wrong ideas about it and most are lacking in traditional cultural knowledge. To improve the situation, colleges and universities must combine classroom teaching with extracurricular practice and traditional means with modern media, attach importance to the roles of both teachers as the subjects and students as the objects and the functions of both school education and social environment. They must upgrade the level of the teachers, take student reception as the ultimate destination, strive for innovative means and guarantee the effect with environmental construction so as to enhance students＇ comprehensive qualities, establish a practical educational platform and unite all educational forces.
