Realization and Optimization of Multi-hop D2D Communications System Based on Android Platform

摘要 D2D(device-to-device)通信是一种允许终端用户通过共享小区资源进行直接通信的新技术,数据无需经过基站或核心网络。目前相关的D2D通信研究工作多集中于单跳D2D通信,而多跳D2D通信在系统容量、通信范围、数据转运能力以及能效性能等方面更具优势。首先,基于Android手机实现了多跳D2D通信系统,该系统利用OLSR路由协议管理网络路由;然后,利用Java语言开发了D2D通信控制应用程序,实现了终端用户间的多跳D2D通信;最后,通过提升Android手机Ad-Hoc模式无线功率的方法优化了系统的网络覆盖范围、链路质量等重要性能。 Device-to-Device(D2D)communication is a new communication technique which is defined as communications between mobile users directly without traversing the base station(BS)or core network by sharing small cell resources.Currently,most D2 Dcommunication studies are focused on single-hop D2 D.Compared to single-hop D2 D,multi-hop D2 Dhas advantages in system capacity,communication coverage,data offloading,and energy efficiency,etc.The paper realized multi-hop D2 Dcommunication system based on Android smartphones.Optimized link state routing(OLSR)protocol is responsible for network management and a developed application is provided to users to control D2 Dcommunication program.Users can realize multihop D2 Dcommunication with the system.In addition,the paper increased the power of wireless signal to optimize important performances of the system,such as communication coverage and network link quality.
