Research advances in DNA methylation and radiosensitivity of cancer cells

摘要 DNA甲基化是基因表达调控的重要方式之一,参与了肿瘤的发生、发展,与肿瘤细胞放射敏感性密切相关.肿瘤细胞DNA异常甲基化改变可以为肿瘤的早期诊断提供分子标志,同时在放疗疗效评价、放射增敏、预后评估、病情监控等方面发挥作用.本文主要针对肿瘤细胞DNA甲基化与放射敏感性的关系及其在放疗中的潜在应用价值进行综述,为进一步探索肿瘤细胞放射耐受的表观遗传学机制提供理论基础. A methylation is one of the important approaches for regulation of gene expression. It plays a role in tumor development and progression and is closely associated with the radiosensitivity of cancer cells. The aberrant DNA methylation in cancer cells can provide biomarkers for early diagnosis of cancer. Moreover, it can contribute to the evaluation of the efficacy of radiotherapy, radiosensitivity enhancement, prognostic assessment, and disease monitoring. In order to provide a theoretical basis for further investigation of the epigenetic mechanisms for radioresistance of cancer cells, this paper reviews the relationship between DNA methylation and radiosensitivity and the potential value of DNA methylation in radiotherapy.
